Pondero is an independent review network covering the categories of software where AI is changing how serious work gets done: AI coding tools for developer productivity, AI agents for workflow automation, MCP servers for stack integration, and a beginner track for first-time users. Every review is hands-on, methodologically documented, and honestly graded. We do not republish press releases, do not run sponsored "best of" lists, and do not let brand budgets shape verdicts.

A documented review methodology
Every Pondero review follows a public methodology so readers, and the brands we cover, know exactly what was tested, how, and on what hardware or tier. Methodology is the difference between an opinion and a recommendation worth citing.
Hands-on usage
Minimum 72 hours of real-work usage on the product before any verdict is published. No "first impressions" reviews; no demos-as-reviews.
Documented scenarios
Each review lists the specific test scenarios run, hardware/cloud tier used, and outcome per scenario. Reproducibility is the bar.
Verdict structure
Every review ends in a clear recommendation: who should use this, who should not, and what the alternative is for the bordering use case.
FTC disclosure
Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every monetized page. The disclosure is in the article body, not buried in a footer.
No-pay-for-verdict
Brands cannot buy a higher rating, change a published verdict, or block a critical review. Sponsored content is labeled and editorially separate.
Update cadence
