Anthropic Adds 27 Integrations and 43 Workflows to Claude for Small Business

Anthropic expanded Claude for Small Business on September 15, adding 27 new tool connections and growing its workflow library from the May launch total to 43. For the 900,000-plus businesses that installed the product since May, the new integrations are live inside Claude Cowork with no additional fee beyond a paid Claude plan.

What shipped

Per Unite.AI's coverage of the September 15 release, the expansion brings 27 net-new integrations to the connector roster. New additions include Zapier, Shopify, Salesforce, TikTok, Atlassian, Zoom, Xero, Gusto, Square, Stripe, Notion, RingCentral, monday.com, Expensify, Apollo, Clay, and Alignable. They join the original seven from the May launch: Intuit QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, Docusign, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.

The workflow count reached 43 across five operating categories. Finance workflows include weekly business briefs, margin analysis, and month-end accounting close. Sales workflows handle inbound lead response and proposal drafting from past pricing data. Marketing workflows cover campaign planning and staging. The connector count per category varies: weekly briefs draw from up to 37 connected apps, lead response from 15, proposal drafting from 17, and accounting close from 14.

Every workflow runs inside Claude Cowork and starts in approval mode. The agent drafts a plan and waits for owner sign-off before sending, posting, or processing a payment. That default stays on unless the user disables it. The product remains available on all paid Claude plans, with Anthropic recommending the Team tier for multi-person businesses, per the product page.

Customer results

Three concrete customer numbers accompanied the expansion announcement. Mothership Coffee Roasters reported in-store margins of 22 percent. Bambi Baby attributed $60,000 in sales to the tool within four days of setup. HireEffect said it resolved a $13,000 discrepancy and reduced a monthly task from two hours to ten seconds. Michael Kazantzis, co-founder of KANE, described the operational shift: "We've taken an entire process that used to take us weeks and it's done almost within a few minutes in a day," per Unite.AI.

These figures come from individual customer testimonials. Anthropic has not published aggregate efficiency data across the install base.

The workshop rollout

Alongside the integration expansion, Anthropic announced the fall 2026 Claude SMB Tour: free half-day workshops in Boston, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Memphis, Savannah, Bentonville, Tampa, and Raleigh. Partner webinars run through the September-to-November window.

The trainer network behind the workshops is large for a product that launched four months ago. More than 150 organizations now hold Approved Claude SMB Trainer status, and those groups have committed to running more than 750 community workshops, per Unite.AI. The spring SMB Tour that launched with the product in May covered a different set of 10 cities: Chicago, Tulsa, Dallas, Hamilton Township, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Salt Lake City, Baltimore, San Jose, and Indianapolis, per Anthropic's product page. The fall tour is a second national sweep.

Why it matters

The Zapier integration is the upgrade with the widest practical reach. Zapier connects to more than 6,000 apps, so the Claude-Zapier pairing means the 43 native workflows can trigger actions in tools that have no direct Claude connector. A business running accounting on FreshBooks, project management on Asana, and support tickets on Zendesk can bridge those tools into Claude workflows through Zapier without waiting for Anthropic to ship native connectors.

Shopify and Stripe are the additions that most directly change the math for product-selling businesses. Shopify has more than 1.75 million merchants globally. A workflow that connects Shopify store data to Claude's proposal drafting or margin analysis closes a gap that previously required custom API work.

The 900,000 install figure is notable in context. Claude for Small Business is an add-on to an existing paid product. That adoption rate across four months suggests the addressable base of Claude Team and paid-plan subscribers is large enough to generate scale within a single product cycle.

The approval-mode default is worth examining as Anthropic grows the workflow set. Turning off approval for an agent that can post to social channels, respond to inbound leads, or process accounting entries carries real operational risk. The current default-on setting protects against mistakes during initial setup. Role-based approval controls, where some workflow types require sign-off while others can run autonomously, would be the natural next governance step for teams adding more than one operator.

Context

Claude for Small Business launched May 13, 2026. The original product shipped 15 agentic workflows and 7 integrations. The September 15 expansion roughly triples both numbers. The pace, 15 to 43 workflows and 7 to 34 integrations in four months, reflects both the Approved Trainer network's ability to surface demand and the relatively low barrier to adding connectors once the agent runtime, approval flow, and authentication infrastructure is in place.

No analyst or tier-1 trade commentary had appeared on the September 15 release as of publication.

What to watch next

Whether Anthropic announces a standalone Claude for Small Business pricing tier before the end of 2026 is the key commercial question. The current structure bundles the product into existing paid plans. That lowers friction for adoption but limits Anthropic's ability to price the feature set separately as the workflow library grows past 50 or 60 items.

The second open question is geographic. The Approved Trainer programme is currently US-only. An expansion to UK, Canadian, or Australian markets would signal that Anthropic treats this as a global growth vehicle rather than a domestic pilot.
